Indian bowlers ,crushes Pakistan's batting lineup, restricting at 191 runs

In a thrilling World Cup 2023 encounter, India engineered a stunning turnaround in the middle overs as bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav orchestrated a dramatic collapse for Pakistan. From a promising position of 155/2, Pakistan lost five wickets for just 16 runs, leaving them in peril of falling below the 200-run mark.

Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan had formed a threatening partnership for Pakistan after an early double strike from India's Mohammed Siraj and Hardik Pandya removed the openers. However, the momentum shifted decisively when Siraj dismissed Pakistan's captain, Babar Azam, breaking the crucial 82-run partnership. Kuldeep Yadav then struck with a double blow, removing Saud Shakeel leg before wicket (LBW) and Iftikhar Ahmed, who was bowled around his legs. Bumrah followed suit with a brilliant delivery to dismiss Rizwan and swiftly took out Shadab Khan in the next over.

Earlier in the match, India's captain, Rohit Sharma, won the toss and elected to bowl. He also announced the return of Shubman Gill, replacing Ishan Kishan in the lineup. Pakistan's Abdullah Shafique and Imam-ul-Haq began with a flurry of boundaries, but Mohammed Siraj made amends by dismissing the dangerous Shafique in the eighth over. Imam-ul-Haq had shown solid batting form, amassing 36 runs off 28 balls before Hardik Pandya claimed his wicket.
